Frequently asked questions
Pricing, quotes, operators and the day you fly.
Pricing
What does an all-in quote cover?
Flight time, repositioning, daily minimums where they apply, crew expenses for nights away, landing and handling, the 7.5% federal excise tax on domestic flights and segment fees. Extras you request are listed separately, and anything that can’t be priced in advance is named.
Why are one-way charters expensive?
The aircraft usually has to return to base empty, and that flight is billed. A nearer aircraft or an empty leg can reduce it, which is why we compare options on their totals.
Are the prices on this site real quotes?
No. Figures on these pages are estimates for planning. A quote is prepared for a specific aircraft and your exact itinerary.
Can a price change after I receive it?
Before you book, yes: aircraft can be taken by other customers and repositioning can move. Each quote states how long its price holds. After booking, your agreement governs any changes.
Quotes and booking
How do I get a quote?
Use the request form with your route, dates and passengers. Your advisor replies by email with options; there is no account to create.
Do I pay anything to receive quotes?
Nothing at all. There is no membership or deposit; payment terms appear only in the charter agreement you sign to book.
Is a quote a booking?
No. A booking starts when you sign the charter agreement, which names the operating carrier, and the operator confirms the aircraft.
Can you price multi-city and international trips?
Yes. List the extra legs in your request. International quotes carry their own lines for customs, handling and foreign fees.
Operators and safety
Who operates the flights?
Certificated carriers: FAA Part 135 operators in the US and their foreign equivalents abroad. We are the broker; the operator flies the aircraft and is named in your agreement.
What are ARGUS, Wyvern and IS-BAO?
Independent audit programs for charter operators. ARGUS awards Gold, Gold+ and Platinum ratings, Wyvern’s standard is Wingman, and IS-BAO registers operators at stages 1 to 3.
Can I choose a specific aircraft?
You can ask for a type, a category or particular features, and we will price what is available. The final assignment is confirmed by the operator.
Travel day
How early should I arrive?
Usually 20 to 30 minutes before a domestic departure at the private terminal; longer for international trips. Your itinerary carries the operator’s advice.
What documents do I need?
Government photo ID within the US; passports, and visas where required, for international trips.
Can pets travel?
Often, with the operator’s approval. Tell us in your request and we will only price aircraft that accept them.
